Cool concept, altho needs work....
I think this is a beautiful looking app. I am all for user interfaces that are gorgeous to look at (thats why I own a mac duh!) and the devs nailed a beautiful UI with this app. It isnt without some reservations however. This first version is quite buggy - crashes frequently - I am sure it will be fixed in future updates.
I do think there is ways to improve this app (what I would consider improvements anyway).
1. I dont want to add all my google reader feeds one by one. I want to sign into my google reader, have them all show up and bam, start reading. Having to add each feed 1 by 1 is a real pain in the a$# for me.
2. I get that its supposed to be seen as a newspaper but the animation that cuts off almost half of the screen real estate isnt necessary. Given that most new mac apps are adopting the full screen route (with Lion on the horizon) I think that the devs should have the window go full screen to show all the content and remove the paper fold animation.
3. Assign global display option across the whole app (instead of on a per feed basis). I like a particular way you can show the feeds - but I dont want to have to do this on many many feeds that I have showing in Pulp.
